2018 Chevy Equinox: The Savviest Compact SUV Around

In a world where the compact SUV is the fastest growing type of vehicle, Chevy has striven to be a cut above the rest. With the new 2018 Chevy Equinox, they have upgraded their features which we hope will draw you to come see us at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Provo. We would like to share a few of these changes with you in preparation for your test drive.

One of the biggest changes has been Equinox’s 400-lb. weight loss. This is due in part to the change Chevy made to switching to a lighter four-cylinder, turbo-only engine. The Equinox will release a series of four models, each with differing levels of horsepower starting with the 252-hp and 260-hp 2.0T engine options.

The drastic change in overall weight of the vehicle allowed Chevy to completely redesign the chassis of the Equinox. Now the structure is much firmer with handling that you usually only feel in higher-end, luxury vehicles.

In the interior remains mostly unchanged with a few tweaks occurring in the back for rear-riding passengers. The back seat no longer slides, in order to provide passengers with greater support for their thighs and lumbar. The back rest does recline to allow for a more comfortable ride, and the leg room is ample enough for even the tallest passenger.

With a large infotainment display, and an available panoramic sunroof, the Chevy Equinox places itself as a strong contender moving into the next model year. There is no telling how long these models will last on the lot once they are rolled out completely, so you’ll want to come down and test drive one today.

With a variety of financing options, the Equinox shouldn’t hurt your checkbook either. Our sales team is ready to help you reach a level of comfort and convenience that you didn’t know could be achieved at such a great value. Come down and see us at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet in Provo and we’ll help make the Chevy Equinox yours.
