Upgrading to a Chevy Colorado is the Lifestyle Change You Need

When it comes to the midsize pickup like the Chevy Colorado there are a lot of options on the market. They are the perfect type of truck for anyone who wants the versatility of an SUV with the work ethic of a full-size truck. You could even call it a “training truck” for those who might not be ready for the size and power of the real thing. And the midsize does fit more places, handles better, and drives more like a vehicle half its size.

What can we expect from Chevy’s newest Colorado offering? In the 2018 model, you get great gas mileage, fantastic towing ability, and even a few engine options to choose from.  There are a lot of facts and figures that we can give you, but then why would you come see us at the dealership? So, instead let’s talk about all the incredible things that you are going to be able to do in this pickup truck.

Really there is nothing better than the Colorado for getting everything that you need in a pickup. The ability it has to tow gives you the power you need to take to the mountain summer, spring, winter, or fall. We know that right now the only concern that any of us have is whether this midsize pickup will get us to Sundance or Solitude safely. The answer to that is a resounding yes. With active 4-wheel drive, the Colorado can take on even the worst winter conditions.

You will also get the comfort and versatility of driving a small SUV or crossover. With 26 miles to the gallon on the highway, the Colorado is great for driving long distances. And you can forget about not having the ability to navigate or entertain yourself while you are on the road. With all the technological perks that you expect in a vehicle in 2017, this 2018 will knock your socks off as you head into the new year fully equipped with every modern convenience at your fingertips.

Stop waiting and searching! Come down and see us at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Provo. We can show you all the ins and outs of the fantastic new Chevy Colorado. There is really no reason why you wouldn’t love to drive one home. Be kind to your driveway this holiday season and give it the gift it deserves.

Ski Solitude Mountain Resort with Chevy This Winter

Winter can be a tough season to get through when you live in Utah. The roads are always sketchy. Traffic can get backed up forever. And then there are the car problems.

We can’t do anything about the weather or traffic at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Provo, but we can offer a helping hand when it comes to those pesky early morning car problems. Get something reliable with a dealer to back it up. Get a new 2017 Chevy model. When you do, we will give you two passes to Solitude Ski Resort.

What better way to escape the winter blues then to rise above them and take in a little sunshine and hit the slopes? With a new Chevy, your skis strapped to the top or in the bed, you will be off to take on the “best snow on Earth.”

Here’s what you can do, where you can stay, and even what you can eat while on the slopes at Solitude:

WHAT TO DO?
Aside from the obvious, there is still lots to do to get your winter on. For skiers, Solitude offers 77 runs varying in difficulty. With everything from beginner to double black diamonds runs, there is no skill level that won’t be tested here. For the more faint-of-heart, there is also snowshoeing offered through the Nordic Center with well over ten kilometers of trails you can explore. No need to fear about getting lost; the trails are very well-marked.

WHERE TO STAY?
With as many accommodation options as there are ski runs, it can be awfully tempting to take advantage of the pass you get with your new Chevy and make a weekend getaway out of it. Take advantage of their great packages, like the spa package. What could be better than a morning on the slopes and an afternoon being pampered? Nothing, that’s what.

WHERE TO EAT?
Eating is of great importance, especially after a long day on the slopes. If there is one thing that can ruin even the most perfect day at Solitude, it’s a hangry ski buddy. Solitude offers a variety of rich dining options, all based on the philosophy that eating meals made from scratch with fresh ingredients is just better for you. But if you are looking for a memorable dining experience, make your way along the lantern-lit path through the snowy winter woods to The Yurt. Here you will be treated to a four-course meal in a beautiful Mongolian Yurt. Truly magical.

We know that it is still a bit of a drive from Provo to Cottonwood Canyon. But how can you resist such a great offer? A new vehicle to get you through the long hard Utah winter, plus a great escape from all the monotony. We think it’s a win-win. Check out our Chevy inventory online today to get your winter started off on the right foot.

2018 Chevy Equinox: The Savviest Compact SUV Around

In a world where the compact SUV is the fastest growing type of vehicle, Chevy has striven to be a cut above the rest. With the new 2018 Chevy Equinox, they have upgraded their features which we hope will draw you to come see us at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Provo. We would like to share a few of these changes with you in preparation for your test drive.

One of the biggest changes has been Equinox’s 400-lb. weight loss. This is due in part to the change Chevy made to switching to a lighter four-cylinder, turbo-only engine. The Equinox will release a series of four models, each with differing levels of horsepower starting with the 252-hp and 260-hp 2.0T engine options.

The drastic change in overall weight of the vehicle allowed Chevy to completely redesign the chassis of the Equinox. Now the structure is much firmer with handling that you usually only feel in higher-end, luxury vehicles.

In the interior remains mostly unchanged with a few tweaks occurring in the back for rear-riding passengers. The back seat no longer slides, in order to provide passengers with greater support for their thighs and lumbar. The back rest does recline to allow for a more comfortable ride, and the leg room is ample enough for even the tallest passenger.

With a large infotainment display, and an available panoramic sunroof, the Chevy Equinox places itself as a strong contender moving into the next model year. There is no telling how long these models will last on the lot once they are rolled out completely, so you’ll want to come down and test drive one today.

With a variety of financing options, the Equinox shouldn’t hurt your checkbook either. Our sales team is ready to help you reach a level of comfort and convenience that you didn’t know could be achieved at such a great value. Come down and see us at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet in Provo and we’ll help make the Chevy Equinox yours.
