Fiction Schools You Wish You Were Going Back To School

We love back-to-school season. We love the feeling of fresh pens and notebooks, the excitement of new course schedules, and the feeling of campus in the fall. But as much as we love our local schools, there are a few fictional schools that we would love to go to! These schools offer the best classes, the coolest fellow students, and amazing after-school activities. Here’s our list of the top fictional schools where we would love to be students. Make sure to tell us which you’d love to go to!

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Who DOESN’T want to go to Hogwarts and be best friends with Harry, Ron, and Hermione? Between Quidditch practice and your heavy, spellbinding course load, be sure to find time to explore the grounds and find all of the secret passageways around the castle. We would love to try our hand at Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, and Care of Magical Creatures. Plus, we wouldn’t pass up those magically-prepared feasts every night!

At Rydell High, you’ll find the All-American high school experience. Sing and dance along with the Pink Ladies and try and stay out of trouble with the mischievous T-Birds. Be sure you find a dance partner for the upcoming American Bandstand, too!

Beat-ba-beat ba-ba-ba-beat Go, Bayside! If you were a child of the 90s, you know that the best high school in the nation was Bayside High School in California. Where else could you become best friends with the coolest kids around and go to lunch at The Max? Make time to go surfing after school before all of the weekly pep rallies!

Mystic Falls High School

If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a vampire, this is the perfect school for you. It seems like you will get to go to an amazing themed dance every other week with some of the most attractive people!

Chevy vs. Ford: Battle of the Brands

When it comes to rivalries, there is none more contested than that of the American carmakers, Chevrolet and Ford. With so much innovative automotive history between the two, there is no question that there is much to compare. Let’s put three of our models head-to-head with three of theirs and see who comes out on top!

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 vs. Ford F-150
Unfortunately, in an overall comparison, Ford did best Chevy. For most, this comparison is the ultimate test of superiority, but we still think the Chevy Silverado 1500 has a few tricks up its sleeve that will entice the more sophisticated eye for aesthetics and comfort. In a side-by-side comparison, the features of the Chevy Silverado 1500 offer the “around the town” quality that won’t make your wife embarrassed to pull up to La Caille in a pick-up. With the same overall capabilities of the Ford F-150, your Chevy has the ability to do what the Ford does if you need it to. With features like available 4G LTE Wi-Fi®, 4WD auto rear locker, and a high strength steel bed, however, the Silverado takes style and durability to an all new level.

Chevrolet Camaro vs. Ford Mustang
Considered to be the only two pony car models on the road, Camaro and Mustang have an equally fierce comparison. In terms of overall score, the Camaro tops the Mustang. With an extended line of stock features that don’t come standard in other vehicles of its kind, the Camaro continues the tradition of more bang for the buck. And in the case of the Camaro, depending on whether you go with the V6 or V8, there’s a little more oomph in your giddy-up as well.

Chevrolet Malibu vs. Ford Fusion
Far and away the preferable midsize car of choice is the Chevy Malibu when compared to the Ford Fusion. With class-topping scores in safety and reliability, the Malibu blows the Fusion out of the water! Add the comfortable ride, ample storage space, and intuitive infotainment features that come standard in new Chevy models, and there is really no need to compare them further.

Not sure if you believe our claims? Then come down and see for yourself! At Larry H. Miller Chevrolet of Provo, we aren’t afraid to put these claims to the test. With a full inventory of Chevy Silverados, Camaros, and Malibus we will be able to put these theories and ratings to the test, and we think you’ll drive away in a new Chevy.

Chevrolet Camaro Celebrates 50 Years - Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Provo

The Chevrolet Camaro has come a long way the past 50 years. On September 29, 1966, the Camaro was introduced. Although initially named "Panther", the name did change to Camaro to align with the other two models - Chevelle and Corvette.

Chevrolet has already released the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro Anniversary Edition which features: Gray Metallic Exterior, 20-inch 50-Year Anniversary Wheels, Unique Grille, and a Black Leather Interior with Orange Stitching.

"Over the past half-century, the Camaro has fostered enthusiasm, camaraderie and memories like few other vehicles," said Steve Majoros, marketing director of Chevrolet Cars and Crossovers, in a statement. "It's a passion Chevrolet takes seriously and the activities this summer are a way of giving back to those who have made the Camaro an icon."

The festivities for the 50th Anniversary have already started! The Celebration kicked off in August and continued throughout the entire month. General Motors hosted several events leading up to the Dream Cruise. This included events at the Plant where the current Chevrolet Camaro is being built, a car display, a car show, Camaros and Coffee, a Camaro Heritage Display and so much more.

What is your favorite memory of the Camaro and what year is your favorite?
